Trumpet of God

Trumpet of God, sound high,
Till the hearts of the heathen shake,
And the souls that in slumber lie
At the voice of the Lord awake.
Till the fenced cities fall
At the blast of the Gospel call,
Trumpet of God, sound high!

Hosts of the Lord, go forth:
Go, strong in the power of His rest,
Till the south be at one with the north,
And peace upon east and west;
Till the far off lands shall thrill
With the gladness of God's good will,
Hosts of the Lord, go forth!

Come, as of old, like fire;
O force of the Lord, descend,
Till with love of the world's Desire
Earth burn to its utmost end;
Till the ransomed people sing
To the glory of Christ the King,
Come, as of old, like fire!

Living Sacrifice

Come let us give ourselves to God, a living sacrifice,
Holy, acceptable to Him, this is our offering.
Come let us give ourselves to God, let us dedicate our lives
From now on to live for Him, and for His glory.
You are our God, we will praise You;
You are our God, we exalt You;
You are our God, we give thanks to You, O Lord,
You are good, and your love endures for ever.

We will no longer be conformed to this world's pattern,
But be transformed, renew our mind, our way of thinking.
Then we can figure out His will, what's acceptable to Him,
We'll discern the will of God, what's good and perfect.
You are our God, we will praise You;
You are our God, we exalt You;
You are our God, we give thanks to You, O Lord,
You are good, and your love endures for ever.

The hour's already come for us to wake from slumber,
For our salvation's nearer now than when we first believed.
The night's far spent, the day's at hand, give no thought to selfish plans,
Live in light, put on the armour of right living.
You are our God, we will praise You;
You are our God, we exalt You;
You are our God, we give thanks to You, O Lord,
You are good, and your love endures for ever.

Put Your Armour On

Soldiers of Christ, put your armour on,
Strong in the strength of the eternal Son.

Soldiers of Christ, arise, and put your armour on,
Strong in the strength which God supplies through His eternal Son.
Strong in the Lord of hosts, and in His mighty power,
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts is more than conqueror.

Soldiers of Christ, put your armour on,
Strong in the strength of the eternal Son.

Stand then in His great might, with all His strength endued;
And take, to arm you for the fight, the panoply of God.
That, having all things done, and all your conflicts past,
You may o'ercome through Christ alone, and stand entire at last.

Soldiers of Christ, put your armour on,
Strong in the strength of the eternal Son.

In fellowship, or alone, to God with faith draw near,
Enter His courts, besiege His throne with all the powers of prayer:
Go to His temple, go, nor from His altar move;
Let every house His worship know, and every heart His love.

From strength to strength go on, wrestle and fight and pray;
Tread all the powers of darkness down, and win the well fought day.
Still let the Spirit cry in all his soldiers, "Come!"
Till Christ the Lord descend from high, and take the conquerors home.

Soldiers of Christ, put your armour on,
Strong in the strength of the eternal Son.
